I would like to formally vote YES for the formation of a LIVE Chatroom as part of the Copper Forum.

that wouldnt be bad, but it takes the fun out of the forum. plus you waould have to close the room when a host can not be in there

Chat Room?, well at least you do not have to rely on propagation. I have found a few on "Pal Talk" for both amateur and 11 meter operators. Just go to www.paltalk.com and then look under miscellaneous. I have found a few Copper users there as well and at the same time introduced a few to the Copper web site.

I can't seem to get the Paltalk program to work, my audio seems to cut out, I guess my hook up is to slow. As far as my vote I say yes to the idea of a chatroom.

I don't think it would neccessairly need to be moderated...I hope we are all typically ladies and gentlemen. Just thought a text only chatroom would be good for arranging cross country DX, chatting with other members, and take away from the message board some of the general chat we see, and leave the meat there as a technical archive for the serious issues, thus reducing the forummaster's stress level and neccessary involvement. Just an idea!
