This antenna is 27' 7", is this considered Full Wavelenght? Would the gain be better than on an Imax 2000? Can this antenna match the swr broadbandness of the Imax?

Thanks..

Well, i own one and its nowere as broad as the I maxx 2000. The sigma nonetheless is a great antenna but the antenna is actually a 7/8 wave antenna and the I maxx is a 5/8 wave(so they say). both antennas are good but if you want a broad antenna the I maxx is the way to go! ive had teh I maxx and its hard to beat and i still run my sigma and its been one of the better aluminum atennas made in fact its up right now on the roof as a standby along with my moornakers up on my 40' tower!!

The bottom of the Sigma is a matching section and does not radiate. The radiating portion is about 5/8 wave. It is very close to being a J-pole.
