Can someone tell me how many telescoping sections this has? Looks like several or is it just the drawing (shows 5). I have an IMAX but am considering the Maco as the IMAX (with it's GPK) will possibly interfere with the lower half of my stack on the mast [same tower]. Also wind survivability in known and/or any specs available. --Thanks

You are correct with 5 section's.

If the base of your antenna is going to be at or above 36' you really do not need the GP Kit on the IMAX 2000.

Both the Imax2000 and the Maco V-5/8 have withstood 70 - 80 MPH winds here on Trutle's V-5/8 and Corncob's IMAX here in Central Illinois.

Hope this help's.
