Someone recently told me that the magnum radios have parts/boards from RCI. Is this true? I thought the magnum radios had their own boards. |

Brewdirect, The RF Linited / Magnum Line is made in a completely different factory from Ranger. While a lot of radios use many internal parts that are the same they are not Ranger specific parts nor made by Ranger. I think there are only maybe 2 or 3 plants left that make the boards for all radios no matter what brand. It is what is put/installed on the boards and the Quality of the parts used that make them different. Hope this helps. Lon Tech808 |

The Magnum 257, Deltaforce, and the Omegaforce are all made by Maycom. I don't know about the S3, S9, M1 and the Mini. |

Well, I guess now it's kinda hard to find a new radio not made in China. Even Cobra has gone that route from what I have heard. 73, Carl CEF-357 |
