Is there a switch you can buy so that you don't need to un-hook coax every time i change radio's.
It seams i've heard something about an A-B switch. Can some one provide some input.

I think Copper sells one of those. I just use a Daiwa 2 way coax switch.

You can use one to switch between two radios...I suggest just moving the coax manually. One less thing in-line in the setup...one less thing to worry about. Wouldn't be a good thing if you started talking on the radio that wasn't switched by accident.

I have a 2 switches in my current setup. Incoming antennas into a 4-pole switch, out to another 4-pole switch that selects which radio is currently online ( I have 3 different locations in the house where my rigs are set up). Works quite well for me.

I have a simalr setup to Kirk, and I have a dummy load on one of the switches too. Dont buy a cheap switch, buy the best that you can afford.

well hey, ive used the AS100 for about 1.5 years and think its great. i have 1 radio on the 2nd floor and 1 on the first floor. i got tired of going to the basement to change the coax....aj
