Has anyone tried to adapt the Antron GPK-1 ground plane kit to a I MAX 2000? Thinking about trying it though the receive is great in it's present state. What gain if any could result? I am sure that 307 will have a qualified answer. Max Wedge 2 |

To be honest, I do know of one friend that has put the kit on his Imax2000. (He slid it just under the 2000 on the pole.) Even though it doesn't need one. He tells me that it has help his RX more and his TX came up just a tad bit more as well. He lives about 20 miles from me, and just the 2000 alone put out a better signal then his old Amtron 99 with the kit did, from what I could tell I guess it didn't hurt by putting the kit on the 2000...LOL |
