Not to suck up or anything, but I just want to express my appreciation for Copper Electronics.

I used to be heavy into CB back in the 70's. I used to hear about "Copper's", but was only in the place maybe once when I happened to be with my brother one day that he was looking for some CB epuipment. Don't remember much about it. I already had all the stuff I wanted at the time, so I wasn't shopping(anybody around the Louisville area remember the old "Brad's CB City" in E-town? That's where my station came from at the time.)

Well, a lot has changed since 1975. The old Brad's CB City is long gone, and so are the the other CB stores I remember in the area.

But Copper's has been there all along. Don't know if they ever closed and reopened, but a man is lucky to have a CB store of any size within driving distance. I have always loved radio, and I suppose I always will no matter what my station situation is at any given time, i.e., whether I actually have a radio or not. I have not had a base station since about 1989, but have dropped out of the hobby and gotten back into it about three or four times over the past 20-25 years.

It's good to have a CB store you can count on being there, even when you are not.

I could very easily be living in an area where you can't decide today that you want a "'didio" and have it in your hands the same day. Glad Copper's is there. Also, it's good to be able to actually "put an eyeball" on the equipment before I buy it.

I didn't even mention the fact that Copper's has such great prices!

So, thanks Copper's. Thanks for being there for a long-time, off-and-on old flapjaw like myself!!

(P.S., this was not a paid announcement:). I usually won't take the time to write to/about a company unless I'm dissatisfied. I just read a post on this board that got me to thinking, and thought I'd express my appreciation:))
