Anyone know where I can get my hands on a VC 300. They were made (or at least stamped) by Palomar and Rf limeted. Also, this device had a line in mixer you could hook a cd player to. How can I mod a radio to have a 1/8 line in. I have wired noise toys directly to the audio wire. However though, a line in from cd or tape player would be a much higher voltage than a noise toy. Is there more to consider?

I have been looking for the VC-200! There was a VC-100 on Ebay a week or two ago and it brought around $140.

VC-100 is way better than the 200,had them both years ago and the 200 was just a waste of money.
BTW: 100 is gray in color the 200 is black if that helps....

I have a VC 300 and it has worked flawlessly. Im looking for a back up because I like it so much. I was not aware that there were other models availble, I will now consider these. As for te mod I was speaking of, any ideas? Looking to wire 1/8 female jack to my cobras audio.

I'd like to use the output of a mixing console on the audio input of my radios. This way, I can use my studio micrphone and any other processors I have on the CB.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to design an attenuator to bring the audio level down to about the same as that of a power mic?

BTW: I have a VC100--very nice unit.

i remember seeing them in Coppers about 1990 or 1991 or so maybe later on. I never had any interest in getting one but a friend of mine talked all the time about getting one for his radio.
