I think it would be a great idea and a good gesture from the forum members to have a thread to show our appreciation to all the moderators, techs, Copper's and staff that make this forum and the CEF net possible. They spend a lot of their free time and effort and patience (some times a lot of patience) to make this happen every day, not to mention all the knowledge that they share with us. So here goes.

MY HATS OFF TO YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE!!!

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND TIME TO MAKE THIS FORUM SO GREAT.

I'd like to add my thanks also, great job from good people. Something else I would like to comment on, if we have some posts that are not posted, its no big deal, they have been more than fair with mine. Lots of times I've written a post, then let it "age" for a few hours, and after reading it again, delete it myself. Also some that got posted I would have deleted if possible. LoL, too late then.

Great Idea! This Forum serves a purpose. It fills a real need for a place to express our questions, idea's, etc. It allows so many people to read the posts and LEARN about Radio without even posting anything themselves!

Thank you to all for the time (That's the BIG one). I don't know about you, but TIME is the most valuable thing I have. Everyone connected with COPPER and this Forum deserve a big Thanks!:):):)

We appreciate all the kind words but none of this would be possible without all the great people who have supported us over the last 28 years.

Let me offer a warm hearted Thank You to everyone who has trusted us with their equipment purchases. We appreciate it more than you know.

what? 3 other members besides me appreciate this forum and the fine people who make it happen???? I just can't believe that!!

Maybe I should have called this subtopic "FREE LINCOLN RADIOS" or something to get your attention instead of "APPRECIATION"

Come on fellow members.

Hello,
Me too...Copper, fellow members & especially the other dealers out there who really don't want anything but your money. I had a French teacher in 7th grade, she was a phD in a junior high-school. She was moody, strict and very set in her ways. We all hated her then BUT, if you were to ask me today, I do appreciate what she stood for and understand why she was that way. Apreciation isn't always easy to come by or recognize. Just look around for those "other dealers". THEY make it much easier to appreciate what we have here!
(Not that anyone here is moody, strict or set in their ways - lol!!!) Yes, I do remember much of what she taught me 30 years ago.
A SERIOUS THANKS and NO offense intended... Ron

I also think the Copper Forum is the best. I have briefly looked at other forums and for many reasons have no interest in using them. A few examples are some forums are not user friendly, not laid out very sensibly and too basic.

Copper has it in a straight forward easy to navigate architecture.

As far as the forum people involved such as the moderators and forum master, my hats off to them. It must take many hours and attention, to screen the forum post, put up with occassional rude post that they have to make decisions, such as, "should I censor this, or not post it at all"?
Or "oh no, it's so and so posting again, another no it all that doesn't know s#%T from shinola".

Then consider the time the moderators and techs take to be involved with replies, such as "ask the tech" section. With Lon moderating, and 307 dealing with the majority of tech questions, and considering they get no pay for their time, I would say a huge Thank You is in order. I know other people are also involved, and a big Thanks to them as well.

It takes a huge love for the radio hobby to spend that much time. Considering the time, that on many occassions, I may make a post, and it is on the forum in less than five minutes, that tells me there is someone by the computer most of the time, waiting to review a post before posting it. That takes commitment.

All Copper techs, moderators and forum master, Thank You. We appreciate your time and efforts.

And a big Thank You to all the faithful forum members who chime in and try to help out.

As Forest Gump would say, "that's all I got to say about that..."

Yeah I have to agree with all the previous posts! Check out all the other forums and you will see that the Copper Forum is the best. Look at the questions that are asked on the other Forums and then look at the replys. Its a jungle out there! My hat is off to all that makes the Copper Forum possible. The Techs. are the best and the Forum members are some good people. Yes we do not have a quantity of members but we have quality members.

You know I havnt been on the other 2 forums in months cause I was tired of the smart remarks they made to the new kids. Im a smart ( ) too but when its a real question why not help when you can save the hate and discontent for primetime. You know I recently gave a kid a 148 cobra and it was so worth it to open his world up to ssb that kid is on 24-7 almost. Plus now I got someone besides my son to put antennas up all the while there learning theory. It was rough in the house when my son had a palomar 300a on a long wire in his room and we were on separate channels. Neither have caught the ham bug yet but it will come and if not oh well there good operators and thats all that matters to me. They have built all kinds of antennas for FM radio too really makes a guy proud to be able to help or elmer someone, glad someone helped me. Crafter
