Use the Booms that come with the Antennas.

I would find me some aluminum pipe at a welding shop to keep it light weight. You are talking about the mounting pipe to connect the antennas booms to the rotor right?

I think Coopers may still sell a staking kit for the M103, maybe that will work if it is not too light or call Maco. The spacing and the harness should be the same. Or, you could work the flat side and stack them one above the other about 12'- 18' apart.

Stacked three's is itself a pretty tough project. Stacked 4's might not make that much difference at that level for a beam, plus you have to figure a healthy rotor in the deal as well and maybe even a Tailtwister might not be quite enough braking for the twisting by the wind that will go on.

Remember also that the two antennas really need to be matched pretty well and together for it to work best and the spacing is a big ? here, however you go.

If you go side by side, which is probably best, then I would go vertical only or maybe on a 45.

The wider apart you can get them, the better they work. The way I understand it, the idea in stacking is to get them acting like 2 beams independent of each other, but co-phased together so you can get nearer the gain of two antennas. I don't know how long the stacking kit is for the Maco 3 elements, but I've had stacked Hy-gain and Mosely 3 elements, the cross boom on them is 14 feet. The 4 elements would need to be at least that far apart, 18 feet would probably be better. I had a friend that stacked Shooting stars at 24 feet apart, man was that an antenna. Maco probably has information on stacking.
