The Turbo is the 100w version of the Saturn. They are 10/12 meter rigs and it has a 10 khz switch. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but, I think it would be the equivilent to the 2990DX.

The Galaxy Saturn Turbo was really a Ranger. It has the same board as the old 2950 and 2970. Also had the built in amplifier like the 2990 and 2995. Lots of them had power supply problems especially untill we learned to put a fan on them. I believe they came out in 1991, that's when I got my first one. The first one's had a problem with the on/off switch, it allowed a surge thur the board when turned on that would burn out lights and other things sometimes. We got around that by leaving them on or plugging them into a power strip and turned them on/off with it. They later came up with a fix for the switch problem.
