The Copper Forummaster needs your HELP/FEEDBACK!

The Forummaster needs to know how many of you will need Ham Radio Equipment Microphone Jumper Cords that will connect to the JCD-201M and then connect to your Ham Equipment.

PLEASE look at the CHART below and let us know WHAT type of Connector ie: MOTOROLA ~ TRS ~ YAESU ~ ICOM ~ KENWOOD you will need and for WHAT Brand/Make of Radio shown on the CHART below.

NOTE!

Or Let us know if you will need a 8 Pin Microphone Connector for a ICOM / KENWOOD / YAESU or other brand of radio.

You would then need to supply the Copper Tech with the Microphone Wiring Pinout for your radio when you place your order if you would want the Copper Tech to do the wiring for you.

PLEASE post and let us know how many you would need of each connector type so that he will have an idea of how many to order with the next shipment of the JCD-201m Microphones.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Lon,

Those plugs pictured (except the Yaesu and CB) are for VHF/UHF portable (handheld) radios. Ham HF radios usually have the 8 pin round connectors. The new Yaesu HF radios use the 3 pin XLR connectors.

If I were to purchase one of those mics, I would need an 8 pin Kenwood plug.

If you're asking Copper to wire a mic to a radio they don't sell, and/or don't have the wiring info for, then it is reasonable to assume they would not wire it.

I don't know anything about that radio, but hopefully there is a mic wiring pinout available somewhere on the internet. If so, have a crack at it yourself.
