Hi,
Anyone out there tried this antenna, AS1102W ?
I've just ordered one. It has a capacitor in the bottom and has 3/8 wave winding. Has 1 db gain over a quater wave.

Does Shakespeare still make CB antennas for base and mobile? I thought they just make marine antennas now.

I agree with Bruce. Sounds like the good ole' days of the Francis Amazer. It was a good antenna though.

Gimmic or not,I'm gunna try one. If its 102" and has a coil too then that aint no bad thing over a normal 1/4 wave. I'll test it against my 102" Hustler stainless steel whip.

Racer X they have pulled out of the CB market but its some new old stock that I have found.

Do they have any Thundersticks? I've always wanted one but could never find one locally.
