I WAS IN RAT SHACK THE OTHER DAY FOR A BATTERY AND THEY HAD BIG SALE ON UNIDENS , PICKED UP A 78 ELITE FOR 74 DOLLORS . THEY HAD YHEM MARKED 139 . WORTH THE TRIP TO RAT SHACK |

Years ago I went to radio shack and in the middle of the store they had a clearance table. They had a new cb radio with no box that was used for display. At the time it was one of the better shack models. Probabley a hundred dollar cb. It had no price so I asked how much. Guy said hmmm 2 dollars. SOLD! I ran out of the store top speed! Came back a week later and found out the guy was new and made a mistake. Told me it was really 79.99 but the sale was made already! HA HA HA Still have the radio today. Back when Uniden made them! Some radio shack guys have no idea what stuff is and you can prey on their ignorance if your slick but I'm not a crook. |

WELL , THEY HAD SHELVES FULL OF UNIDENS AT THESE PRICES , ALL NEW SEALED IN BOXES . DIDN,T NEED ANOTHER RADIO , BUT COULDN,T RESIST . I PUT IT IN WIFES CAR . LIKE THE WEATHER CHANNELS . GREAT AM RADIO |

Here in Central Indiana I have been to 5-RS stores and they all are clearing out all radio stuff and whatever else that hasn't got to do with cell phones. Got big box of coax for $9.00 and small 2-foot jumpers for a buck each and those (IMO) great little Power-Swr Meters for $12.00. I missed out on their I believe they were 30-amp non-switching power supplies on clearance for $12.00 each.

And guess what: the stores in metro Atlanta that I have gone to so far just look at me like I am out of my mind when I mention about closing stores! And NO deals on any cb stuff. Go figure.

Yea, I don't no what Rad shack is doing but at the stores closing in central Indiana if you buy anything they give you a $10.00 off your next purchase of $20.00 or more at the shacks that are not going to close????????????
