Im not able to use my texas star 400 due to the fact that my radio looses receive when I switch the power button on the texas star. What can be the cause??

I can't answer this, BUT my friend has had this happen to 2 brand new DX350's in a row, in the past two weeks.

Something amis with TS.

samson, & 205, are they the newer 'cw transmitter' versions? did they work at all, or did the problem just 'appear' after awhile? modifying the newer TS amps requires several soldering efforts near and/or on the relay AND power switch. possibly an unintended solder bridge or loose connection/stray wire touching something it shouldn't be?
