I have a problem every two or three weeks my swr goes sky high. When I disconnect the coax from the antenna an reconnect it, it goes back to normal. (1.2 to 1) I have it grounded.

Check your connectors very closely for breaks or cold solder joints. The center conductor in the tips of the PL-259 can come loose and give the response you note.
Might give the coax a good continuity check with a good OHM meter. |

Bad solder connection on the pl-259 center and shield need resolderd, Dirty/corroded pl-259 or coax.
Bad coax and it's the movement that is making it work again and not the unscrewing of the coax,
You didn't say what antenna this is but, Bad SO-239 connection on the antenna,
possible moisture grounding out the coax connection.
Could be any one of those things.
