Ok I know what to do with the am side of things just wanted to make sure about the ssb side of things. I know VR17 is the ssb power and VR13 is ssb ALC. How should these two be adjusted for best sound and performance. Thank you all in advance 73'sssssssss |

for ssb theres only modulation [swing] id adjust it for max ,then cut it back a little should see around 25-30 watts on ssb if you got mosfets in it. if yours is a older one with 1969 finals then you,ll probaly only see around 15 watts on ssb dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

Were it me. I'd set the AM low @ 2w the AM high @ 3.5 and the SSB at 12-15 pep yes they will do more but over doing it will put it in the shop soon. Is that the boat you have or hobby ie; Basstracker 73 Pressman

Basstracker1970 Sounds like a nice boat. I got a chance to fish Lake Barkley one year, there were so many tree stumps and we were in a 15ft alum Sears boat with a 5hp it wasn't fast but we fished close to shore anyway. How's the 959? 73 Pressman
