Is there any mods, power, extra channels for the new soundtracker 148? I have also saw on another site that the SSB frequency drifts very dramatically when modulating because of Cobra elimanating the MB3756 Voltage Regulator and replaced it with a 3 pin voltage regulator. Is there any clarification on this? if there is, how could it be fixed? |

The mods are the same for that as any other of the 148`s or Grant XL`s. If you go to the side bar on the forum panel where it says search, do a keyword search on Uniden GrantXL and you will find the NPC-RC mod I posted, for your modulator it is a 2sb754 which is unstable at times you can change it to a 2sb815 and it will even out the voltage on the radio. |
