I've been told that it may not be a bad idea to turn up the modulation on my radio. (all the way clockwise and then back it off a bit). Now, if I decide that I don't like the way it talks, how hard will it be to get it somewhat close to where it was? I don't have any meters, just going to count how many turns I make to get all the way up. Do you think this would work?....

thanks for your replies.

it will only turn so far not even a hole circle, take a black marker and mark the spot on the board, where the little groove is on the varible resister that you are turning.

Just put a mark on VR14 where the flat side of the wheel is that way you can set it back to normal. I would recommend going into the Subscriber Preview section and do the NPC-RC in the VR9000. I did it to mine with good results, it isn`t as tough as it sounds and you will like it.

I believe that Q-239 is the audio limiter.
