The only thing i can tell you is it tunes up just like a Galaxy 88 on recieve so if you can setup a receive on a 88 just do it the same, if not don't mess with it! |

Turning up the recieve in a radio is a real complex process that requires very expensive test eqipment. It's also very easy to mess up and even harder to get it back to the factory settings. If I were you, I would buy a preamp to boost my recieve. A preamp can be cut on and off unlike if you modified the radio, so that you don't get overpowered when a nearby station is talking or when skip is rolling. They're also inexpensive and easy to use, and if you don't like it you could always sell it on Ebay for twice what you gave for it. sorry, a little humor there. But seriously, don't attempt any recieve mods, they're not worth it. CEO of DEADMAN INC. |

Does anyone have a problem with the VR9000? When I first turn mine on it will stick on 30mhz. When it warms up it will work good and go back to 27mhz. Just curious, Snowman-404 |
