I heard and seen there was a mod to install a amp on the back of the older galaxys does anyone have info about this

Until it was discontinued, Copper sold a kit called the "DX-100" (I think) that would bolt onto the rear of a Galaxy mobile. Would go onto a 148 or even a Cobra 29. Haven't seen it or a substitute sold for years. The FCC tightened the rules for "CB linears" to include "kits" a few years back. May have had something to do with this one being dropped.
