My radio has a D2166,D1969 power output section with D1135 regulator. Is that stock ? If not, is it better than stock ? |

those are the stock parts. 2166 is the driver. good part 1969 is the final. good part D1135 is AM regulator and should be replaced with NTE291, or NTE152. the D717 is also stock, and good luck finding a replacement if it goes. there is another D1135 on the PC board that is mounted sideways.(regulator board) do not try to change this one without removing the board first. matt |

the parts you mention are all parts that were used in earlier versions of this radio. they are all interchangeable. be glad that you have the D1135 instead of the 1419. the 1419 was only rated at 2 amps! junk part, thats why they changed. 2SC1306 as a driver was discontinued, and replaced by the 2SC2166. every bit as good a part. the 2SD188 was a different case style that was also discontinued. my 2000gtl is from taiwan also, and has the D1135, 2166, 1969, and the D717 in it. so the others were basically discontinued right after the first few runs. good luck, matt |

The TA7222AP is a very common audio IC found in most CB / Export radios.. you can pick them up cheap nearly anywhere but I usually order in bulk from rfparts for those |
