Sam will be joining the Saturday Night Voice Chat’s on a monthly basis or more as his own personal time allows to keep the Copper Voice Chat Volunteer’s UPDATED on Product’s and to address and answer any questions the Copper Voice Chat Volunteer’s may have on the MAGNUM International line of products.

Below are the Topic's / Question's that were asked by the COPPER Voice Chat Volunteer's and Answered by SAM LEWIS (OWNER of MAGNUM INTERNATIONAL).

Since the S-9-175 & S-9-250 Models will be HARD WIRED there will be a Inline type 257 Block on the main board with an automotive type fuse located behind an escape hatch in the Top of the radio which will allow it to be changed should you need to replace it.

YES, all MAGNUM RADIO's like the S-3/S-6/S-9 50/80/175/250 will be availiable with the PURPLE or BLUE NITRO OPTION.

I missed a fair whack of the info because of the clown three doors down trying to wring the neck of his motorcross bike all morning. Hopefully next month i'll be able to get a bit more involved. What i did catch was invaluable to someone like me with next to no knowledge of electronics. Thanks Lonnie for posting the major questions and answers.

Sounds like everything went well and some good questions got answered with Mr. Lewis. Maybe next time someone could ask how is status and production going on the S-45 and is Mr. Lewis planing to up grade the S-45 to a S-80? and drop the delta force?. I would have loved to participate in the live voice chat but my work schedule interfered. Thanks 73s

Please remember to fuse the High power magnum radios as close to the battery as possible.

Also pay attention to the wiring size to the battery if the new ones do not come with long enough wire.

If I had one I would go with an 8Ga car audio power install kit. These can be had for cheap from many parts houses even without the RCA and remote lead which are not needed in this case. It should include appropriate fusing; ground and power wire along with the connectors needed all in one shot.

Remember that the fuse at the battery is not to protect the radio but to protect the wire and car int he event of a short from pinching or chaffing. it will not take the place of the fuse in the radio and should be sized appropriately for the wire.
