Can anyone tell me where I can get a user manual that I can download for a 10 meter Magnum Delta Force ssb. Just bought it my Cobra 135xlr just gave up. |

lets talk somemore about the Delta Force ... i hear thru the grapevine that magnum radios are moving out of the country ?? ... is the delta force going to be in production anymore or are they done ??? it would be a shame if they were to discontinue this model ... for the price they were an excellent radio ... i dont care for the top gun or meter in the s-9's ... and the 257 is only a part of the delta force ... thanks |

Since I did not have the answer to your question I contacted Sam Lewis for the direct answer below.

Hi
The Deltaforce and Omegaforce along with the 257 and 357 were all built in the Philippines. The factory closed over a year ago and relocated to mainland China.
The Delta Force has been discontinued, the Omega Force continues in production. Both of these radios were built on the exact same platform.
The main difference being a couple of "add on" features and the RF output difference between 30 & 45 watts PEP.
The new China built Omega Force will arrive during late April and now be powered by our ERF 2030 MOSFET's. The RF output is 50 watts PEP.

thank you tech 808 for the info ... i like the new look of copper's page ... i guess ill try the omega force when they get in stock ... another tech question ... will you be able to mod the NB on the omega force like you can the delta force ... i have done the mod on the delta force and it worked real well for my situation ... thanks steve |

The Copper Tech will not do any modification that would void any Manufacturer's Factory Warranty.
Honestly with using our MAGNUM Omegaforce S-45 daily since September 2003 we have never found any problem's with the 2 stage Noise Blanker or ever heard of anyone needing to modify it.
It has both a Noise Blanker and an a Automatic Noise Limter (ANL).
The Noise Blanker operates in a STEP Mode which will give you 1-kHz, 10-kHz or 100-kHz steps.
Instruction on how to use this feature is included in the Owners Manual.
Personally I ALWAYS recommend that NO modifications of any kind be performed on ANY radio from any manufacturer that could possibly VOID your Factory Warranty.

Am I correct in assuming that the omegaforces being sold by copper currently do not have the 2030 mofsets and have the 1969 finals? |

Yes you are correct as the  Magnum Omega Force Radios with the ERF-2030 MOSFETS are still in the development stage and have not went into production yet.
Currently the Omega Force S-45 is out of stock.

the delta force has been discontinued thats sad
imho i think it would be cool to have the option
of getting the delta foce or go go for the higher
power omegaforce.kinda like with the different
s-9 models.cause i gotta ts350hdv if i get a new
omegafoce with 2030 finals when they arrive then
id also have to replace my amp with the ts500v
or just run barefoot.
