MICROPHONE ADAPTERS A Non-Technical Review By Lon “Tech808” Have you ever wondered what a different microphone would sound like on your radio? Or do you have several different Radios hooked up and only one favorite microphone but the pins are different on the different radios, so you can only use it on one radio. Well now there are new Microphone Adapters carried by Copper that can solve this problem for you. They will allow you to connect your favorite Desk or Hand microphone to most radios without the headache of re-wiring the microphones for different radios. These Adapters will allow you to convert:
Inventory # | Part # | From | To | M60-07420 | C4P5DIN | 4 pin Cobra Uniden | 5 pin DIN Cobra | M60-07422 | C4PRC6 | 4 pin Cobra/Uniden | 6 pin Ranger/RCI | M60-07424 | C4P4M | 4 pin Cobra/Uniden | 4 pin Midland | M60-07426 | C4PHR5C | 4 pin Cobra/Uniden | HR2510/Lincoln Etc. | M60-07428 | C4P5C | 4 pin Cobra/Uniden | 5 pin Cobra/Uniden | And for those of you out there who work on radios who do not have a microphone tester this is a major time saving benefit to be able to test most microphones for Modulation, Talk-back, and Echo settings without re-wiring. Respectfully Submitted, Lon “Tech808” |
