I took my great old Lafayette SSB 140 (pl02a chip) out of storage where it had been for about two years. I hook antenna and power up and when it came on it worked fine. It worked great then I noticed the lights getting dim THEN dead, nada, zip, zero! I changed the power cord checked the fuse (internal and on the back) both are good. This radio has a place to plug it in and run it off DC so I got the DC cord out plugged it in and turned it on and it came on! So i tried it on AC and it is just dead!
Where should I look to see what the problem is?

Thanks
Ernie
