I see $179 worth of stuff there if you consider the used AH-100 battery... The "High Gain" antenna is a $9.95 Rat Shack telescopic scanner antenna guaranteed to smoke the finals on that Titan... ssb handheld Heya Copper??? What happened with the Eagle Spitfire? These things are in demand again!!

There are some really nice antennas for portables now due to rigs like the FT 817, made by MFJ and Outbacker that would make that rig a neat backpacker. |

Here's one for ya. Under Specifications, General: the following was noted about the antenna. Antenna Impedance: 50 ohms Unbalanced (via included antenna, not applicable to aftermarket hi-gain antenna) When did the laws of physics change such that a radio only requires a 50 ohm match with the included antenna? |
