I just bought me a Superstar 148DX for the car And wanted to know If anyone knew The Tune up mods for it.

It should be the same as for the Cobra 148. If that radio has a RCI8719 PLL then these are the mods.
This is the easiest way to peak for AM and SSB.
Cut R131
Adjust VR11 for best SSB output
Adjust VR10 for desired AM dead key

Some people replace R126 with a 4.7K ohm resistor
and replace R124 with a 2.2K ohm resistor....if you plan on running a power mic don't replace these resistors.
