I'm looking for the best size/type coax to connect an Antron99 antenna to a Galaxy2547 base. Also the distance would be about a 120(+-) feet. Is that too far of a distance for optimum preformance?

Thanks daveC

Well at that distance I would go with some 213u or even better.

I don't remember where its at on the net, but there is a coax loss calculator. Im sure someone here on the forum has it bookmarked.

if the run is going to be that long you'll want to select a cable with as little loss as you can afford. you have a lot to choose from.

i would recommend the LMR-400 for a run that long.
loss is almost half of what the 213 is.
