Just read a very good article in this month's (November) Monitoring Times. It was about Winter Propagation. It was predicting some good opportunities for DX this Winter. The bad news is the downward Solar cycle and the resulting difficulty in the High Frequencies (HF). It will not start back upward again until 2007/2008.

Good deal. The more skip the better, I just love it when that old ionosphere closes up and bounces those signals everywhere.  |

So do I! The only thing I don't like is 25 people all talking at once on the same channel! If it gets too noisy, I just turn my beam West to hawaii and close out the U.S. Pinnaple One is always on channel 38. |
