Does it hurt to leave a 12 volt power supply plugged into a 120 volt wall recepticle turned on all the time and how much electric would it consume with no current being pulled from it.
I am using a 12volt weatherband CB radio and in order for the weather alerts to sound off the radio must be connected to power all the time.

It won't hurt a thing and I dout you would even notice a differents in your electric bill.
I run Ham radio's off 12 volt power supply 24-7.
Run Run and never miss a call or alerts again.
