1861, When the Red Light on the front of the mic starts to go Dim when you key up or when someone says WHAT DID YOU SAY? Seriously though they will last for hundreds and hundreds of hours of talking. Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |

I usually run my mics for about 6 months and then replace battery. Or until someone says: Your modulation stinks...LOL I think the next time i'll check and see what the voltage is before i change it. Somehow, i developed a 6 month habit. JIM/ PA/ CEF 375 |

one word... Lithium I tried lithium batteries in my stage wireless systems and got up to 4 times the life out of them... Keep in mind that this is a high constant drain and Lithium batteries have a looooonnnnggg shelf life. I have had bass and acoustic players actually FORGET they had a battery in their instrument when they install lithium batteries in their guitars and that's after 3-5 years. I like the Ultra-life. High end hobby stores sell them. Chad |

Magnum 257 supplies the current to the mic through the mic cord, there are no batteries. So the modulation stays the same. Paid Advertisement, Magnum 257 Radio CrackerJack CEF-358 |
