Is there any way to reverse the channel expansion mod for the original 2950? What I mean by that is I am wondering if the 2950 can be locked down to the 11 meter freqs? If so, how? Sure it's an odd thing to do to such a fine radio, but I have a coworker wanting to do it to his , he's a little paranoid about the FCC. Thanks! Jon |

That shows how to open up the frequency range. What he is wanting to do is lock it down so that it won't do anything other than the standard 40 channels.. |

Locking it down to just 40 channels wouldn't do you any good, it is still not type-accepted for CB use, and the FCC would bust him anyway. |
