I have a Cherokee CBS-500 that im trying to modify, i found the supermod instructions on the cbs 1000 but do not have them for this unit, i was wondering if anybody does

Channel Modification:

1. Unplug power source.
2. Remove top cover.
3. Locate the black shorting block on the rear side of the display PCB. Move the jumper from left to right two pins.
4. Plug the power source back in.
5. Power on the Unit holding down the Channel 9/19 button.
6. Remember to hold the button down for about 5 seconds after power is applied.
7. To change bands just press button #1 and the bands are labeled A,B,C,D,( Band E is missing and is the CB band), F,G,H,I and J. (Coverage from 25.165-29.665 Mhz).
8. Replace top cover.

hey channel mod works fine, how about a power mod???
