Is there a way to quiet this radio down, like the
2sc2999 mod for the XL? This radio I have in the big truck for am use, is really noisy.

recieve, noisy atmospheric type noises. I can't find any info on alignment steps. I wasn't sure if diode swaps or transistor swaps would help lower the noise floor or maybe fine tuning the nb circuit.
