After talking with Sam Lewis just now here is the latest UPDATE on the  Line of MAGNUM Radios.
S3-80 ARRIVED LAST WEEK. 
S6-80 WILL ARRIVE NEXT WEEK.
S3-175 / S6-175 / S9-175
WILL ARRIVE IN LATE MAY OR EARLY JUNE

This email was sent to me from Sam Lewis yesterday.
Good afternoon
The initial shipment of S-680 is scheduled to arrive at our warehouse this afternoon. All radios in this shipment are pre-sold and will all ship out friday April 21.

Is there a price on the S9-175???
Also do we know if it is going to be using components that are still in production. I know there was an issue with the early S-9 radios.
I am looking to get an S9-175 before traveling from Florida to Iowa this summer but do not want to get one if they will be using the outdated/no longer manufactured components.
I hope the time schedule is correct or else I will have to buy something else as I am going to be pushing the time line as it is.

No there is not a price as yet as the radio's have not even arrived yet and the pricing has not been set by Magnum.
The S-3, S-6 and S-9 175 will all have the  ERF-2030 finals.

After talking with Sam today he said the
S3-175 / S6-175 / S9-175
WILL ARRIVE IN LATE JUNE OR EARLY JULY.

Sorry, but after talking with Sam yesterday the 257's are still not in production and there is no date set as yet for the 1st batch to roll off the assembly line.

In the meantime.....anyone out there willing to part with a TS 50 s with full coverage tx and rx at a bargain basement price????.......only joking, looks like i'm on the long queue for the 175 S9 and see if i can con an early xmas pressy out of the Mrs. |

I have heard rumors of a 250 watt special edition to come out at the end of the year. 250 watts pep WOW!!!! I might have to hold out and see if that rumor comes true!!!! |
