MAGNUM 257 After talking with Sam Lewis today he informed me the 1st "SAMPLE" Magnum 257 with the 1969 Final's is on it's way by Fed Ex to him now. He is expecting the shipment of the last 200 Magnum 257 radios with the 1969 finals to arrive around the 1st week in December and they should arrive at Copper shortly after that. S-9-175 Sam stated the production of the S-9-175 is scheduled to begin next week. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9CEF CVC#2 |

So, what is the exact difference between the version #2, and version #3? Is it just the finals? Anything else? |

Radio_terminator, Version #2 = 1969 Finals Version #3 = ERF-2030 MOSFET Finals and smaller frame which Sam memtioned. As for any other modifications or changes we will have to wait until they are actually manufactured and a pre-production model arrives to determine any other actual changes. Or Sam Lewis may be able to answer the Question in the Saturday Night Voice Chat's when he stop's in to Visit and answer Questions. Hope this help's, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9CEF CVC#2 |

I have seen two different sets of dimensions listed for this radio. I have no way whatsoever to mount a radio in my vehicle, except for in the center console. Could you please list the true dimensions, so that I know whether it will fit? I am talking about the version #2 radio. As you stated, the version #3 should be even smaller. So if version 2 will fit, it stands to reason that version 3 will fit. |
