Hey guys, I have read a number of references in this forum to ferrite beads. I am guessing that they are used for noise suppresion, but I just read about using them to "decouple" the antenna. Could any of y'all explain this a little better for me. Thanx, Big Dan

They are great for decoupling coax read the ARRL antenna handbook balums made with them are covered also the ARRL handbook covers them
