**UPDATE**
Well she went and seen the neurosurgeon today. good news is, NO TUMOR!!!
Now for the bad news. She has excessive fluid on her brain which can require 2 different kinds of surgery to fix. Next week she has to have a spinal tap done so they can remove 20-30cc of fluid. Then the week after that she goes sees him again to see if that helped or not. If it did then she will have to have a shunt put in. If it doesn't help then he will have to go to plan B, unfortunately, we don't know what plan B is as he would not discuss it today  She was relieved to find out NO tumors, but she is terrified cause the possibility of brain surgery. I will update more as we find out things.

Update.... She had the spinal tap done and now we wait. She is sore but otherwise doing OK and in a decent mood...lol....Now we wait till the 1st of April to find out which surgery they gonna do. Will keep everyone informed!

well, looks like she has to go to the ER Saturday if her headaches don't go away by then. they think she is leaking spinal fluid on the inside from teh spinal tap. they told her to drink plenty of caffeine???

well tehy did a blood patch, which stopped the leaking. Went an seen the doc today an since the spinal tap didn't give him the results he wanted, he wont do surgery to fix the problem. told her to lose weight an that was about it. Apparently, there is NO surgical procedure that will fix the problem, since the spinal tap didn't work. So it looks like she just has to deal with the severe headaches. will keep all informed as we find out.

UPDATE!!!! been almost a year but she now has to see the doc on the 18th of March to get the lowdown on the shunt surgery. They will explain everything to her then, then they will set the date for the surgery. all I can say is.. about DAMN time!!!

***UPDATE***
Amber has to have surgery next week the 24th. They are going to put the shunt in and the doc said there is a 1 in 500 chance that she might get a brain hemorrhage. Since he said that she is a nervous wreck! I will have my laptop with me so I can give everyone an update on how things went. She will be int he hospital for at least 3 days.

Her surgery went well. It did take a little longer than expected as they had a hard time putting in the shunt. Right now we are just waiting for her to come out o recovery room and into a regular room. Will update more as time goes on. We BOTH would like to thank all of you for support and prayers as we know it helped
