Do you love your job? Or do you do it for the money? I read this story on CNN.com:

~~~ CRYSTAL LAKE, Illinois (AP) -- Jeff Hornagold loved being a UPS driver. So when the suburban Chicago man died this week of lung cancer, longtime co-worker Michael McGowan agreed to take him on one last delivery. McGowan transported Hornagold's body from Davenport Family Funeral Home to Saturday's funeral services in his UPS truck. McGowan says he plans to keep a picture of Hornagold in his truck until he retires so that they can keep riding together. Hornagold was a UPS driver for 20 years, and his wife Judy Hornagold described him as "just the happiest UPS man alive." She says the special delivery was the perfect tribute. ~~~
And after I read this story it got me to thinking about my job. I do love my job, and this time the pay is good. But I would still do this job even if the money wasn't as good as it is. I just love working in security.
So how about you? Do you do your job for the money, or because you love it?
Yes I do love my Job , But like any job it has it bad days and good ones. I guess im one of the lucky ones that has boss and also owner of the shop (Welding and Machine shop) that is very good to me. Iv worked for him almost 22 years , And both of us has trained alot of young ones to go into this field of work. I might add a thought, Iv worked for some of the big guys like Monsanto , Chevron , And about 6 more big ones. Im happy just where im at!
Good Question Mike (Moderator 120). Glad You like your new job and your happy with it. So as they say : Keep up the good work!
My Grandfather told me when I was just a lad "Find a job that you love and you will never work a day in your life". I have been very fortunate. I work as a Supervisor in the Communications industry. Best of both worlds, cutting edge of technology interaction with a bunch of sharp tech's that keep me on my toes.
