Hi there members, I was thinking ? Yes i know (Ill hurt myself thinking) Any rate i also have a question also. I lost most of my qsl cards years ago moving from here to there. Sometime in early 1970's i made a contact with gal from Tennessee, Yes those 23 channel days. Back to the subject i made a contact with her and her handle was Minnie Pearl. Yes she said Hoowdiee on the air. I even recieved a card from her. The card was from Nashville Tn. I often wonder if i talked to the real Minnie Pearl??? I wish i still had the card. Dose any one reameamber her and was it the real Minnie Pearl??? I do reamember that famous Hoowdiee greeting over the air. I often wonder about that?? Again i wish i still had the card

Ok whats your favorite card? And tell us all about it? It can be CB or Ham and would like to hear about it!

Give it a shot!

I too lost my collection moving! One of my fav.s was one from the Shetland islands, talked to a Tweed Farmer who also ran a factory there. He had sent a cut out patch of tweed along with the QSL. Many of the QSL's from that part of the world came with stickers, patches, etc. so I started sending my cards out with something from here. Oh the good old days. Now i only have a few cards from 6M SSB contact's. Starting to set up another 11M Station, to try again...

I have many of mine back to about 1966 and most from 1968 to today ..... Nothing like being able to show your cards 20 even 40 years later.
On 6 since 66
