Good to know I would be happy with one of them ...but as soon as I get one...Dad will want one, then My Bro Phil(202), and I am sure the list will grow...LOL If you find them let me know what their going for, Hell I just might want a mess of frog legs.(no pun intented) But If you are able to locate one or a few of them let me know the $ if you would Vernonott, I would be Astatic!(no pun there either)But in all seriousness I am willing to buy one or a few in good shape...The person that had them years ago is long since gone. I haven't seen one in years and many I ask about them just say...Well buy one with both keys, I guess its that nostalgic thing of growing old. Maybe the next thing I'll want is one of those little metal peddle cars...LOL will be looking forward to hearing from you Vernonott.
Thanks for the speedy reply...~OHIOBIKER~575~

Well, $75.00 is kind steep, And if thats the price I think the frog will be better off with them! I just want to have one for myself, like I said before, its a nostolgic thing not looking to make any money on them. Before my truck accident in 98' I was into aluminium fabrication, once I have one I am sure between me and my bro outlaw... we can maybe make a few out of aluminium, but thats just a thought. I have made the cabinet for my power supply station that I have in my shack. Most of it is diamound deck as the outer case. Once my bro in law gets started he thinks like a ture fabricator, hes even wants to make all my radio case's for mobiles I have...I do have to say that my DX667V does look a lot more impressive in the diamound deck plate case. Well I guess I'll just wait to see what frog legs are going for. Thanks for all the great feedback on this. I am still waiting to make my first Coppers contact on 27.575LSB. Early am hrs between 5:30am and about 10AM and evenings about 8pm till 11pm. The county(Carroll) I live in here in OHIO is a farming comunity. I see truck, cars and lots of antennas, but in three yrs I have only talked to a small handful of locals. I love the DX from here though. Oh well there the rambling so I'll go for now....Thanks Again all

Sounds like a sweet looking 667 you have!!! They are a good amp! I ought to know!! HE HE! Used to run one on the base behind a Galaxy sat' base. Around here guys like to make "Baby D 104s" by cutting the neck tube and making the mike as short as possible.. ive seen a few that were only about 5 to 6 inches tall!!!! Kinda cool looking but then it degrades the mikes value a tad.. Another thing ive seen guys do is take a junk D 104 and make lamps out of them!:-)

Radio dude.
Go to Lowes and get a lamp kit and you can make one yourself!! Nothing like making something yourself and having the self satisfaction of doing it yourself!!

I have one of those things...they called it a "lazy-key" and is made of nylon-plastiic. I have seen some machined out of aluminum and copper. When set right, you can flip it up and it will keep the d-104 keyed and LOCKED-DOWN... A friend of mine just found one IN THE BOX and gave only $10 for it...good luck.

Well Gentlemen,
1ST of all I want to thank COLT(Tony) for informing me about the one that was one on e-Bay. I watch and look at e-Bay a lot of the times I miss things I am serching for... as was the case of the missing frog leg. Colt was kind enuff to let me know that there was one on e-Bay and even took the time time mail me the link. I had/chose to bid on, it also comes with a nice looking D104 so I think it will work out nicely as I now need a D104 for the Yaesu. I feel I might have went even a lil higher on the price if I had needed, but i gave 87.50 with shiping and all to aquire it...not too bad I guess. I am quite excited to have gotten it...Here it the link for anyone who doesn't know what they look like or what were talking about http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1330015966&ed=1013232542
Thanks again COLT, I am greatful to you for your effort...~OHIOBIKER~575~...Walter...
