Here's one I wonder if anyone else is doing. I have a Wilson 5000 antenna. I used a larger diameter whip and found the antenna is now much more broad banded than before. It now has a 2 mhz working area. I stopped testing at 2 swr's on either the high or low frequency. The center frequency was just about flat.
Anybody else ever try this mod??

What whip did you use? Name, size, length?
