About 9:30 Eastern Standard time last night August 5th 10 and 11 meters where alive with sporadic E propagation. Not sure if it was a meteor shower or what, but the east coast was privy to some of the best western conditions in a long time. I worked the west coast with almost phone like clarity.
If your looking for good conditions, I would check tonight to see if things will repeat. Look for 524 around 27.375 LSB and higher. Good luck and hope to see you there...

The Perseids meteor shower, the most well known is on the rise. Should give up to 80 meteors an hour this weekend 12/13th at it's peak. Check the internet for the best times. They are falling every night from now until about the 22 of August, so keep listening.
