well it has always been the other way around. Now when I turn on the big screen, I get a super hum/static on all channels, about s7! I have confirmed is is the TV. Anyone else experience this? Seems like its always a TV/radio conflict!

yes it is, and its in another room, not to near my radios! Any suggestions? I guess I am getting some payback for all the TVs I wiped out in the past!!

Plasma sets are known to hate radios. Even when in the house next door.

Yep. Plasma technology is prone to radiating all sorts of QRM on HF bands. Sorry to say, OM it's a fact of modern life.

Suggest trading it in on an LCD or LED backlit type TV if possible. No way to "detune" a plasma set. There are thousands of threads about plasma sets on various radio related web forums. You are not alone.

My neighbours 3 doors down has a plasme tv and I get a constant s5 when they have it switched on luckily they ain't gonna have it for long they are gettin rid of it as it is interfering with their wireless broadband or so they were told by the engineer and they have to switch it off when surfin the net.

The FCC should be having fun with Plazma. You should see a person with hearing aids in the TV sales area of a store. A friend wears one in each ear and they emit a squeal that I can hear standing next to him.
