I do not want to run a radio and amp, not much room so which radio would you suggest, connex 4300hp/300, galaxy dx98vhp, or a ranger 2970n2. No more magnums for me. Anntena is wilson 1000 I have a ranger 2995dx grate base. Contacks all over the world am and ssb so I think I would like the 2970n2 but I like to have different radios, something new you know. I like the audio of the galaxys. I had a 95t2. also love the sound of connex any thoughts on these radios would be great, thanks. |

Get the 2970n2 u will love the radio I got one and if u use ssb its the better choice. The others are drifters on ssb. Hope this helps. |

ssb only =-2970n2
if ya run am but may use ssb sometimes then galaxy 98vhp
for am only without a doubt connex 4300/300
this would be my choices depending what modes
you use the most
