Recently went to a CB keydown contest and really had a great time.Had forgotten just how much fun these can be.There were about three hundred in attendance with about fifty entrants.Had vendors all around selling from fold out tables ,pickup tailgates ,and out of vans , new and old radio gear.Had an array of nice radio equipment door prizes.I don't keep up with all the different classes any more but one guy with an old Cobra 29 driving an old Palomar 500 with a Wilson 2000 antenna beat out eight Galaxy, two Uniden, several other Cobras, and one Realistic rigs in that class.
