It sure is good being able to post and read copper forum again. Had bad scare as I almost met my maker with bad heart attack and had to have quadruple by-pass surgery. The doctor told me after surgery, that I was lucky to still be here. Boy! Talk about putting your life in a new light.

I've been gone a long time from the Copper Forum but I remember you Harve. I'm CEF 375 from Central Pa. and have talked to you via skipland years ago.
I'm sorry to hear about your heartattack but glad things turned out ok...
Prayers for you Harve for a full recovery! Jim

Been there, and outlived my doctor.of course it helped that I was only 18 at the time.

Since then,. I have lived life to the fullest, done everythign I wanted to do (parachuted, raced cars, rock climbed etc) and still here to tell the tale.

Harve, if you let it worry can be worse than the actual problem.

Hope everything goes very well ! Doctors say these surgeries are common place these days but the Doctors aren't the ones holding the panic in. The Doctors here are cutters and wanted to do a quad on me but I opted for stints. Got 5 now!

Hang tough Harve !! Take good care of you ! Everything else is secondary at this point !
Give yourself time !

Well, the ordeal was not quite over with. Another trip by ambulance to hospital. The heart decided not to beat in rythm and the had to shock it to get it working right, but back home and doing fine again. Just another bump along the way. At least I am still walking on God's green earth and I guess that is all that counts.
