Any ever work DX via meteor scatter on 11 meters??
I've worked stations as close as 300 miles to me and as far 2000 miles. With multiple burns a QSO can last 10-15 minutes.There is a big meteor shower in July, I'm not sure of the exact date, but I plan to be on the band. I 'll be calling as 837 Upstate New York. If you hear me give a shout.
I'll be QSL'ing for 2-way or reception reports to PO Box 904, Corning NY 14830.I would like to see how a sporiadic E band opening would effect conditions during a meteor shower. Does anyone know what this would do for conditions?? |

Endicott is out of my ground wave range.Sometimes I'll go mobile on one of the hills around to see where I can talk to. I've worked stations in Owego so I could probably talk to to you.Were you at the Owego hamfest last month?
I guess I forgot to mention in the first post that I'll be calling CQ on or around 27.575 LSB/USB |
