I have 3 radios in my radio shack, and one base antenna. I have a 3 position antenna switch (one radio in, three antenna outs).

If I want to have the ability to use any of my three radios, out to one antenna, may I use this 3 position antenna switch and simply use it in "reverse"? So I'd input my three radios into the three antenna "outs", and use the one radio in for the one antenna out?

Thanks for the help.

Yes. you can do that. I run my three radios that are currently on the desk into a 3-way coax switch and then into one Imax antenna.

If you end up getting a second antenna and/or more radios, you may consider this switch setup- http://www.arraysolutions.com/images/SixPakManual2007.pdf

With that, you could assign any one of 6 radios to either of 2 antennas, without worry of accidentally switching more than one radio to the same antenna at the same time.

Hey I heard you on the radio not long ago. I think it was 27.385 LSB. You ever talk local?
